FEFCO is the internationally applied coding system for corrugated packaging design. It depicts the style of the most common packaging box types, with a code number assigned to each, making it easy to identify a specific shape from a catalogue of hundreds. The code was originally developed by FEFCO in the late 1960s to substitute long and complicated descriptions of packaging construction, with a distinct code assigned to each different form, creating a common base for communication internationally.

Excel has the capability to manufacture short runs of many different FEFCO designs and can produce either regular ‘slotted’ cartons or diecut designs in a wide range of board grades.
